LSU fans thought they were robbed when the instant replay official determined that Barion Brown did not score a touchdown in the third quarter of Saturday night’s game. The official on the field, ruled it was a catch and Brown was out of bounds at the one-yard line. The instant replay looked like it was a touchdown, but the instant replay judge determined Brown did not possess the ball through the entire process of the catch. Coach Brian Kelly says the officials got the call right, but the rule should be changed…

Kelly also announced that receiver Destyn Hill suffered a fracture hand and will miss this Saturday night’s home opener against Louisiana Tech.

The Grambling State Tigers will face the A-P number-one team for the first time in program history as they travel to Columbus to take on Ohio State. Head coach Mickey Joseph is not backing down from the challenge and wants his team to focus on one play at a time while limiting sloppy play.

Nicholls is ranked 22nd in the Stats Perform FSC Top 25 poll. The Colonels defeated fifth-ranked U-I-W to start the season, before losing to Troy in a competitive game in week two. Nicholls hosts West Georgia this Saturday.
