Multiple reports indicate 23-year-old Norris Greenhouse, Jr, one of the two officers charged in the shooting death of a 6-year-old boy in Marksville, will post a 1-million dollar bond and be released from custody. Legal analyst Tim Meche says regardless of the crime, you have a constitutional right to be released on bond. He says as long as Greenhouse is present on his court date, everything is satisfied…

A cold front will finish passing the state today bringing fall weather to Louisiana. State Climatologist Barry Keim says come Saturday and Sunday, we’ll see low temperatures in the 40s. He says for the next three days, it’s time to break out the sweaters and jackets…

West Monroe Police say a man and woman are under arrest accused of leaving a dog to die. They say Nitiana Moore and Brandon Roberson left town October 28th after failing to find someone to take care of the dog. When the pair returned home on November 10th, they found the dog dead. Authorities say it appears the dog starved to death. Moore and Roberson are booked on aggravated animal cruelty charges.
