Each team will have three natural rivals; we don’t know who those schools are yet. Every four years, each school will play every school at least twice, once at home and on the road. Additionally, the SEC requires every school to play at least one non-conference game against an opponent from another Power 5 league or Notre Dame.

Saints Coach Kellen Moore says second-year quarterback Spencer Rattler will start the final preseason game for the Saints on Saturday against the Broncos. Moore says Rattler’s ability to extend plays with his legs has stood out.

A new college football season begins tomorrow. Nicholls hosts U-I-W at noon, and tomorrow night, Southern will play North Carolina Central in Atlanta in the MEAC-SWAC Challenge. Jags Coach Terrance Graves is looking forward to putting on a show.
