State Police say a 74-year-old woman was killed in a Union Parish crash Thursday afternoon on LA Highway 33. Patrica Holloway of Downsville lost control of her vehicle drove off the road and struck a tree. The woman died later at a hospital in Shreveport.

Drew Brees and wife Brittany have named their baby girl Rylen Judith Brees. The name was announced publicly Thursday during the CST broadcast of the Saints’ final preseason game. Baby Rylen has three older brothers: Baylen, Callen and Bowen.

LSU introduced a new logo this season and basically said goodbye, officially, to the old Tiger logo that was extremely unpopular with fans. Feduccia says her customers are EXTREMELY glad to see “Toonces” go.
