Bond for the two men charged with second degree murder in the death of 6-year-old Jeremy Mardis has been set at $1 million each. Eric Gill takes a look at what happens next…:

The two candidates for governor are speaking at a forum in Baton Rouge at this hour. Democrat John Bel Edwards released an ad over the weekend attacking Republican David Vitter’s prostitution scandal. Today, the US Senator is out with a new 30 second commercial that shows him sitting at a kitchen table saying to the camera, “15 years ago, I failed my family but found forgiveness and love.”

Lafayette City-Parish President Joey Durel says the movie theater where a man opened fire on a crowd of people in July, will open its doors for the first time since the shootings in 10 days. On July 23rd, a crazed man shot and killed two women and injured several others at the Grand 16 shortly after a film had started. Durel says this is a symbolic development..:

LSU star running back Leonard Fournette’s used jersey that was allowed to be auctioned off following the displaced South Carolina game to benefit flood victims, went for a whopping $101,000. The high bidder’s user name on the auction website is Coach.
