Two men have been arrested in the case of the 6-year-old child who was fatally shot multiple times when State Police say Marksville City Marshals fired upon the vehicle he was in. Col Mike Edmonson says Norris Greenhouse Jr. and Derrick Stafford were booked on charges of second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder. Edmonson says the incident was caught on video…:

The little boy, Jeremy Mardis, will be laid to rest in Mississippi tomorrow evening. His father, Chris Few, remains hospialized.

Early voting lines are starting to stack up this morning as folks cast their ballot for the November 21st runoff election. You can early vote today through November 14th, with the exception of Sunday and Veterans Day, between 8:30am and 6pm. You can get ballot information online at GeauxVote.com.

And during the game tonight, Democratic gubernatorial candidate John Bel Edwards’ campaign says they will air an ad which targets his Republican challenger, David Vitter, on the US Senator’s prostitution scandal. The Edwards spot compares the Amite state lawmaker’s former military experience with Vitter. It says Edwards “answered our country’s call,” and Vitter they say “answered a prostitute’s call.”
