The state office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control announces the suspension of alcohol and tobacco permits of four more Bourbon Street clubs. Authorities say acts of prostitution and/or drug activity were found at Babe’s Cabaret, Big Daddy’s, Bourbon Cowboy, and The Swamp. ATC’s “Operation Trick or Treat” has resulted in a total of nine French Quarter establishments having their permits suspended.

State Police say no gun found in the vehicle involved in the death of a 6-year-old who was fatally shot as city marshals in Marksville opened fire on the SUV he was riding in. It’s reported that the father of the child victim, 25-year-old Chris Few, had warrants out for his arrest which is why the Ward 2 City Marshal deputies gave chase when Few didn’t pull over.
