The state office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control announces the suspension of alcohol and tobacco permits of four more Bourbon Street clubs. Authorities say acts of prostitution and/or drug activity were found at Babe’s Cabaret, Big Daddy’s, Bourbon Cowboy, and The Swamp. ATC’s “Operation Trick or Treat” has resulted in a total of nine French Quarter establishments having their permits suspended.

State Police say no gun found in the vehicle involved in the death of a 6-year-old who was fatally shot as city marshals in Marksville opened fire on the SUV he was riding in. It’s reported that the father of the child victim, 25-year-old Chris Few, had warrants out for his arrest which is why the Ward 2 City Marshal deputies gave chase when Few didn’t pull over. State Police Col Mike Edmonson says the incident was caught on tape…

Edmonson said Thursday afternoon he had not spoken to the City Marshal and no interviews had taken place.
