Tragedy in Marksville. Authorities say a 6-year-old child was shot and killed in a pursuit and officer involved shooting. Avoyelles Parish Coroner, Dr. L.J. Mayeux, says a warrant had been issued on Chris Few which is why he was being perused by the City Marshals in Marksville. He says the chase ended in gunfire and Few was hit and is in critical condition..:

State Police is investigating a fatal hit and run crash that forced an 18-wheeler over the guardrail on I-10 West into the Pearl River near the Louisiana-Mississippi line. Sgt. Nick Manale says there was another big rig involved and also a vehicle that fled. He says they are trying to figure out what happened…:

He says the driver of the 18-wheeler that went into the river was pronounced dead.
