A Tops Bill that would provide a scholarship award of up to 12-thousand dollars for students who score a 31 or higher has received approval from the Senate Education Committee. The full House has already passe the bill that also provides TOPS scholarship opportunities for medical and dental students, but Ruston Representative Chris Turner says recipients will need to stay in Louisiana after graduation…

A stillborn baby that was set to be cremated in Dallas ended up mixed with linens at a laundry facility in Shreveport. Shreveport Police Corporal Christopher Bordelon says investigators are trying to figure out what happened here…
