The Hammond Police Department is investigating the discovery of two bodies found at a truck stop near I-12 last night. Cops now say the victims were a man and a woman who had been reported missing from Baton Rouge. The report indicates Baton Rouge Police got a call around 10:15 last night to make a welfare check at a home where the door was wide open, no residents inside and vehicle missing. State Farm says over 44% of teenage drivers still admit to texting while behind the wheel, even though they know it’s dangerous. Spokesperson Roszell Gadson says it’s Teen Driver Safety week and they are trying to get the word out that young motortists need to put their hands on the wheel and eyes on the road…:

The Westwego Police Department is investigating the shooting death of a 15-year-old boy. They say Kevin Thomas was talking with several other people in a parking lot when someone shot him multiple times as he tried to get away from the group. Authorities say Thomas made it to his parents house, but was pronounced dead at the scene. The police investigating is ongoing.
