U-L Lafayette athletics director Doctor Bryan Maggard says it was their plan for head men’s basketball coach Bob Marlin to coach the team the rest of the season. Marlin was fired yesterday during the middle of his 15th season for the Cajuns. ULM men’s basketball coach Keith Richard is retiring at the end of the season. The Warhawks announced today that this will be Richard’s last season. He’s a former player, an assistant coach and he’s been the head coach at ULM since 2010.
