The Department of Children and Family Services says they’ve collected over $2 million dollars in casino winnings from deadbeat parents. Deputy Assistant Secretary Lisa Andry says each collection made, whether large or small, is proof that the Casino Intercept Program an essential tool for collecting what is owed to Louisiana’s children…:

A Marrerro woman has been arrested on charges related to child trafficking for sexual purposes, and other serious sex crimes. Louisiana Attorney General Buddy Caldwell says the woman is 38 year-old Candice Caulfield, and with all of the charges against her, she faces a combined total of more than 200 years in prison.
