LSU has lost another five-star commitment from its 2025 recruiting class. Earlier today, Kade Phillips decommitted from LSU and now plans on playing for Texas. The Missouri City, Texas native was previously committed to Texas in the summer, but announced in August he would play for the Tigers. Matthew Brune, who covers LSU for the Bengal Tiger, says it’s a loss, but the 2025 recruiting class for LSU still contains five-star cornerback DJ Pickett from Florida and Aidan Anding.
