Thanksgiving is barely over, but it’s already late in the holiday shopping season.  Here’s Andrew Greenstein.

It’ was a busy and sadly, violent weekend in the Crescent City with 11 people shot in six separate shootings.  In all two men and a toddler were killed, eight other people were injured.  NOPD reports three of the six shooting incidents happened on Canal street.

The nonprofit Tax Foundation says changes lawmakers made to Louisiana’s tax code in the recent special session should improve the state’s business climate.   Senior policy analyst at the Tax Foundation, Manish Batt says it will allow Louisiana to better compete with other states.
