LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier has struggled the last two games with turnovers. He’s thrown five interceptions and lost a fumble over the last six quarters, but Coach Brian Kelly there’s been no discussion about benching him. He says the coaching staff will continue to work Nussmeier, especially his foot work, and they’ll also try to make it easier for Nuss to go through his progressions…

Cut 18 (12) “…less is more”

LSU is at Florida on Saturday. Gators Coach Billy Napier says quarterback DJ Lagway is trending in the right direction play against the Tigers. Lagway injured his hamstring a couple of weeks ago and didn’t play last week against Texas.

Nine players were listed on the Saints injury report today ahead of Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns. Lucas Patrick, Pete Werner, and Jamaal Williams did not practice. Cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry and center Erik McCoy were limited, but there’s optimism they will play on Sunday.

LSU women’s basketball coach Kim Mulkey has signed the number one recruiting class in the nation as four five-star prospects signed with the Lady Tigers on National Signing Day. Matthew Brune covers LSU for on3-dot-com and the Bengal Tiger. Brune says LSU got a big time scorer out of New Mexico in Bella Hines and then three other players…

In basketball action tonight…the Ragin Cajuns are at eighth ranked Houston. Louisiana Tech tries to improve to 3-and-0 as they face Massachusetts in New York and Southern is at East Texas A-and-M.

The short=handed Pelicans are visiting the Thunder, trying to snap a five-game losing streak.
