There’s good and bad employment news today .Trinity Marine Products says its closing its barge manufacturing facility in Madisonville, which will result in 336 layoffs. But a Louisiana-based company announces plans to build an 11-billion dollar liquefied natural gas facillity in Cameron Parish.

The St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office is looking for a white extended cab truck in connection with a triple shooting in LaPlace that claimed the life of one man and injured two others. Sheriff Mike Tregre says they believe the victims had just arrived in a vehicle of their own…:
