The National Hurricane Center says potential tropical storm cyclone 18 in the Caribbean will enter the southwestern Gulf of Mexico as a hurricane later this week and head towards the Louisiana coast. Southeast Louisiana is in the cone of uncertainty. The storm is expected to weaken to a tropical storm as it moves towards the Northern Gulf Coast.
