The Advocate is reporting another high-level official with the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality has left. DEQ’s budget chief Christian Griffiths is now with the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness. Another top ranking official, Chandra Pidgeon, who left after only two weeks on the job, accused DEQ Secretary Aurelia Giacometto of harassing employees. Governor Landry has said the criticisms of Giacometto are from entrenched bureaucrats who resist change.
