Louisiana Tech running back Kenneth Dixon had another big game in the Bulldogs 27-17 win over FIU on Saturday. Dixon had three touchdowns and rushed for 169 yards. It was the 11th time he’s scored three touchdowns in a game which ties an NCAA record, but Dixon is not focused on individual accomplishments…

Tech hosts UL Lafayette this Saturday. The Cajuns are coming off a bad loss at home to Akron, 35 to 14. Coach Mark Hudspeth is still trying to settle on a quarterback. Brooks Haack started and threw for only 77 yards. Jalen Nixon came off the bench threw for 96 yards. Both men were intercepted once.

Did you happen see the Grambling-Prairive View score. Grambling won 70 to 54. Grambling QB Johnathan Williams threw six touchdown passes and ran for another. Martez Carter returned two kicks for touchdowns. Carter had four touchdowns on the day.
