Saints Coach Sean Payton says if quarterback Drew Brees can’t throw a pass in practice this week, he won’t play Sunday against the Carolina Panthers. Brees has been limited in practice this week because of a bruised rotator cuff. Veteran backup Luke McCown will start if Brees can’t play. Kickoff is at noon Sunday on Fox.
