The open house meeting, scheduled from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the West Monroe Convention Center, will provide information about the project and gather public feedback.  DOTD Representatives and the consulting team will be available to address questions and discuss the project’s impact.

A former art teacher in Lafourche Parish has been sentenced to 40 years for sexually abusing a student. The Lafourche Parish District Attorney’s office says Ralph Cheramie Jr. sexually abused his victim while she was his student at a middle school in 2009.
