Skenes pitched just one inning, he issued a walk, but did not allow a hit or run and did not have a strikeout.

Left-handed pitcher Cooper Williams who was committed to Texas A-and-M has committed to LsU. He’s six-foot-four and is ranked as the 12th best left hander in the Class of 2024 on Perfect Game. Perfect Game says he has a fastball at 93 wtih a slider and changeup.

How much of a step back will LSU’s offense take with the Tigers having to replace last season’s offensive coordinator, a Heisman Trophy winning quarterback, and two first round picks at wide receiver. Starting tight end Mason Taylor is back and he’s not expecting a drop off with Garrett Nussmeier at quarterback…
