A status hearing scheduled for today in suspended LSU running back Trey Holly’s felony gun charge case has been postponed until September. Holly’s attorney Mike Small says he and the prosecution requested a delay because the state is still in the process of providing evidence from the shooting in Union Parish that injured two people. Small says he wants to clear Holly of the gun charge, so he can play football for the Tigers…

Underage gambling charges against former LSU receiver Kayshon Boutte have been dropped. The East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney’s office says he’s completed his gambling awareness program and agreed to a self-ban. Brooke Thorington has more.

A state judge has sentenced Charlene Henderson of Shreveport to life in prison after she shot her husband and then doused his body with gasoline. The brutal murder took place in May of 2022. Prosecutors say when officers arrived on the scene, there was an overwhelming smell of gasoline and crime scene photos showed ashes covering Larry Clark’s body.
