Suspended LSU running back Trey Holly was set to have a court hearing tomorrow, but it has been pushed back until September 18th because more evidence is expected to be presented and the attorneys working the case want more time. Holly is facing a charge of illegal use of a weapon or dangerous instrumentality from a shooting that injured two people in Union Parish in February. Holly has said he’s innocent.
Gambling charges against former LSU receiver Kayshon Boutte have been dropped. He was arrested in January for placing bets on online when he was under the age of 21. The East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney’s office says Boutte has completed a gambling awareness program and executed a self-ban. Legal Analyst Tim Meche says it’s a classic case of prosecutorial discretion because no one was harmed…
