Tangipahoa Parish District Attorney Scott Perrilloux says they will seek the death penalty against Danial Callihan, the man charged in the death of a Loranger women and her four-year-old daughter. 36-year-old Callihan is accused of killing 35-year-old Callie Brunett, kidnapping her daughters, and taking them to Mississippi. It was in Mississippi where the younger daughter was believed to be suffocated.  He also faces charges in Mississippi along with his accomplice 32-year-old Victoria Cox.  Callihan is being held in Louisiana and is awaiting trial.

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has named Ohio Senator J-D Vance as his running mate. He’s only 39 years old. But Republican Louisiana State Treasurer John Fleming believes his youth will only help the Republican Party…
