Richardson competed at LSU in 2019 and as a freshman set an NCAA record for her time in the 100-meters. The Texas native qualified for the Olympics in 2021 but tested positive for marijuana and didn’t compete. Richardson admitted to smoking pot to cope with the death of her biological mother.

One of the top cornerbacks in the Class of 2025 has decommitted from LSU. Jaboree Antoine plays at Westgate High School in New Iberia. Antoine is also considering Miami and Florida State.

Louisiana Tech baseball coach Lane Burroughs has received a five-year contract extension. The Bulldogs are coming off a season in which they won a Conference USA regular season championship.
