The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating an officer involved shooting which sent the suspect to the hospital. They say a 911 call came in about a woman who was possibly being held against her will in Baker, and when deputies responded they encountered an armed man. That’s when law enforcement fired upon the suspect and he was sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries according to authorities. The names of those involved have not been released.
