Former LSU Head Football Coach Les Miles has filed a lawsuit against the school for their decision to vacate the wins while he coached claiming it cost him the chance for a College Football Hall of Fame qualification. A news release from Miles said it’s quote “an irrational and unfair self-inflicted punishment.”

LSU is losing two more key pieces to the transfer portal in catcher Brady Neal and left-handed pitcher Javen Coleman. Neal, still only 19 years old, has spent two years with the Tigers while Coleman has played four seasons in Baton Rouge as a reliable relief pitcher and starter.

Derek Curiel, the No. 10 rated prospect in the 2024 class, officially withdrew his name from the MLB draft and will be coming to Baton Rouge. The outfielder will enroll early and join the team this summer.

Third Baseman Tommy White and right-handed pitcher Luke Holman have each earned Second-Team All-America honors from the American Baseball Coaches Association. The pair of juniors are expected to go in the MLB Draft this summer.

The Washington Nationals are promoting former LSU star Dylan Crews to the team’s Triple A affiliate Rochester Red Wings. Crews was selected to the Nationals as the second overall pick in last year’s MLB Draft.

The Saints are on break until training camp after mandatory minicamp wrapped up last week. Players and fans got their first look at the offense under new coordinator Klint Kubiak. Quarterback Derek Carr says the coaches threw a lot of material at the players, but these Saints are up for the challenge…
