The New Orleans Saints wrapped up their three day mandatory minicamp last week . Saints fans and players are hoping to see improvement from last season’s nine win team and quarterback Derek Carr says that he and his teammates are not staying complacent.

New Orleans will start their training camp at UC Irvine on July 24th.

Game 5 of the NBA Finals is tonight and the Celtics just need one more win this season to be crowned the 2024 NBA Finals champs which will be their 18th NBA Championship, the most of any NBA franchise.

And Angel Reese is receiving some national attention over a flagrant foul she received against Catlin Clark when the Sky played the Fever last night. Reese says that some people just receive a special whistle.

LSU baseball is losing a lot of talented players to the transfer portal this offseason. The Tigers have lost 10 players total which includes 6 pitchers and 4 position players. LSU’s most recent departing arm is left hander Javen Coleman. Coleman joins Sam Dutton, Nic Bronzini, Cam Johnson, Micah Bucknam, and Aiden Moffett as transferring arms.

The news isn’t all bad for the Tiger bullpen as LSU Head Coach Jay Johnson has added some arms through the portal. Johnson received a commitment from freshman right hander Deven Sheerin from Mount Saint Mary’s on Friday. Sheerin averaged 14 strikeouts per nine innings last season and his fastball can get up to 98 miles per hour.

Today Florida and NC State will play in an elimination game starting at 1 o’clock and then Texas A&M will face Kentucky for the driver’s seat in their side of the bracket at 6 pm. Yesterday saw Florida State eliminate Virginia 7 to 3 and Tennessee secure the winner’s position, on their side of the bracket, by defeating North Carolina 6 to 1.

And Bryson Dechambeau won his second US Open yesterday after barely defeating Rory McIlroy by one shot under par.
