Based on media reports, Saints defensive end Isaiah Foskey has looked good at O-T-As. Foskey did not make an impact in his rookie season last year after he was drafted in the second round out of Notre Dame. He appeared in ten games last year and had nine tackles. The 23-year-old says he feels much more comfortable this year…

Foskey says the key for him is trusting his skill set.

The college football bowl schedule was released today and the New Orleans Bowl will be played on Thursday December 19th at 6 PM. The game is moved off Saturday, because college football playoff games will played on the 21st. The Independence Bowl will once again be played on a Saturday night, December 28th.

Lake Charles will continue to host the high school boys basketball, baseball, softball and swim state championships. The baseball state championships will have a different format next season as Divisions one, two and three will go to a best out of three series for the championships. Eric Zartler with Visit Lake Charles says they are excited about the change…

There’s been talk about building a new 400-million dollar arena on the LSU campus. But where will it go? The Advocate is reporting based on emails they’ve obtained through a public records request, the LSU golf course at next to Alex Box Stadium is the location that’s looked at the most. The Tiger Athletic Foundation is looking to partner with a private developer to build the arena.
