Tiger fans are questioning the play calling after Brandon Harris threw just 14 passes in LSU’s win over Mississippi State. Coach Les Miles was asked if he would describe the game plan as conservative, but the Tigers head man said the offensive production would have been better if penalties did not negate 200 yards of total offense…

Harris says the plan was to throw the football more than 14 times.

LSU Police announce they have arrested a 21-year-old Cut Off man for allegedly climbing a security fence and entering a secure area behind Mike the Sixth’s habitat on the LSU campus. It happened around the start of the McNeese State game, but Mike was in Tiger Stadium. Trent Paul Boudreaux, who is not an LSU student, was cited, but not booked in jail.

If the Saints want to reach the playoffs this season, they’ll need to do a better job in the red zone. They had four trips inside the Cardinals 20-yard line on Sunday, but came away with only one touchdown. Former Saints tight end Jimmy Graham was a weapon near the goal line, but he’s gone. Coach Sean Payton says they can’t use Graham’s departure as an excuse…

The Saints face Tampa Bay this Sunday in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

Some bad injury news for the Saints. The NFL Network reports safety Rafael Bush tore his pectoral muscle in Sunday’s loss to the Cardinals. If that’s the case, Bush will likely miss the rest of the season. New Orleans has reportedly signed veteran free agent safety Kenny Phillips. The former first round draft pick has eight career interceptions, but hasn’t played in the NFL since 2012. He was with the Saints during training camp, but was part of the final cuts made by the team.
