It’s gameday and Louisiana is in for some great action on this Saturday. LSU and Mississippi State face off and one of the big things to watch is how the Tigers’ defense will fair against the Bulldogs QB and former Haughton High School star Dak Prescott. Prescott threw LSU around last year but Bayou Bengal defensive tackle Christian Lacourture says getting a lot of players around State’s QB will be key:
CUT 1 (17) “be okay”
Northwest Louisiana is looking forward to seeing two from their region go head to head as LSU quarterback Brandon Harris is a Parkway High product and Prescott from Haughton are both from the Bossier Parish School District. The game kicks off at 8:15 tonight and will be televisied on ESPN.

In other college football action tonight, Southeastern Louisiana hosts Florida Tech. Nicholls State travels to Monroe to take on ULM. Incarnate Word is at McNeese. Tulane visits Georgia Tech. UL-Lafayette plays Northwestern State at Cajun Field.

The Saints open their regular season Sunday afternoon at Arizona. Saints radio color analyst Hokie Gajan says this is about as uncomfortable he’s been about the Saints heading into a season opener…:
CUT 19 (11) “very limited”
The game tomorrow kicks off at 3:05 and you can watch it on FOX.
