Governor Jeff Landry holds a bill signing ceremony this morning for four property insurance reform bills that have made it through the legislative process. A statewide poll of 800 registered voters conducted for the Advocate and the Times Picayune found that 68-percent of respondents do not agree with Insurance Commissioner Tim Temple’s approach to fixing the insurance crisis. Temple believes his plan will bring more competition to the state, which will help reverse rising premiums.
