The Saints have signed former Lions cornerback Will Harris. to a one year deal. Harris is a former third round pick in 2019 and spent five seasons in Detroit, playing outside corner, slot corner and some safety. In 81 career games, he has two interceptions, two forced fumbles and 14 passes defensed.

LSU men’s basketball has added Richmond graduate guard Dji (jai) Bailey to its roster. Bailey won the Atlantic 10′s Most Improved Player of the year award. During four years at Richmond, Bailey averaged 10 points, 4 rebounds, and nearly two steals per game. Bailey will join Cam Carter from Kansas State and Jordan Sears from UT Martin in the 2024 transfer class.

D1 baseball released its latest Field of 64 projections and they do not have the LSU Tigers making the NCAA Baseball Tournament. The Tigers can greatly improve their chances if they can win this weekend’s series against top ranked Texas A-and-M. D-1 baseball does have U-L and La Tech in a regional.

The 18th ranked Ragin Cajuns baseball team has a tough series this weekend at Troy. UL-Lafayette is currently on top of the Sun Belt standings at 17 and 4 while Troy is 14 and 7. Cajuns Coach Matt Deggs has a healthy respect for the Trojans.
