The Louisiana House is expected to vote tomorrow on legislation that would result in the state holding a constitutional convention starting on May 20th and end as early as June 3rd. Slidell police arrested a Slidell High School teacher for sexual misconduct with a student. The investigation that led to the arrest of 35-year-old Alexa Wingerter began in March. Authorities say Wingerter had an inappropriate and sexual relationship with at least one 18-year-old male student and there is evidence she purchased alcohol for students at local bars. She faces charges of Prohibited Sexual Conduct Between Educator and Student and Unlawful Purchase of Alcoholic Beverages on Behalf of Persons under 21. The investigation is ongoing.
