Republican Presidential hopeful Governor Bobby Jindal slammed the leader of the GOP field, real estate guru Donald Trump. In a speech at the National Press Club, Jindal called Trump’s antics a carnival act. He says the Democrats are basically giving republicans the next election, but Trump could destroy America’s chances to be great again…:

Jindal adds that Trump is a shallow person who has no understanding of policy and no intellectual curiosity to even learn.

Former 5th District Congressman Vance McAllister, also known as the Kissing Congressman, made good on his word today and signed up to go up against State Senator Mike Walsworth for the District 33 seat this fall. Both are Republicans. McAllister says he wants attention on this race because it’s important to end “the Jindal-Walsworth” administration.

The Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 55-year-old man in Alexandria on human trafficking charges after receiving a complaint in reference to alleged child abuse. Spokesperson Lt. Tommy Carnline says there was more to the allegation against Bobby Otis Augustine Jr…:
