The Pelicans fell behind by double digits in the first quarter last night and never really challenged Oklahoma City and lost to the Thunder 124 to 92. O-K-C shot 59-percent from the field, while the Pels were just 7-of-26 from three point territory. New Orleans is down two games to none and game three is in the Big Easy on Saturday.

The LSU Lady Tigers have signed three guards out of the transfer portal. Shayeann Day-Wilson from Miami, who is a former ACC Freshman of the Year, Kailyn Gilbert from Arizona, who averaged 15 points a game last season and Mjarcle Sheppard, who averaged five points a game at Mississippi State as a freshman.

The 17th ranked Cajuns baseball team fell behind nine to one and lost to Houston Christian ten to nine last night. Louisiana Tech improved to 30-13 after outscoring Nicholls ten to seven. Michael Ballard, Kasten Furr and Dalton Davis all homered for the Cajuns. S-L-U defeated Alcorn nine to one.
