The Saints have the number 14 pick in the NFL draft tomorrow night and there are questions surrounding whether or not the Saints will trade up for the 27th consecutive season. Saints General Manager Mickey Loomis says the rumors surrounding a trade with Marshon Lattimore are just rumors and that he does not want to trade starters.

Cut 18 (15) “… we got.”

The NFL draft will begin tomorrow at 7 pm.

Former Saints running back Reggie Bush has his 2005 Heisman trophy back nearly 14 years after it was forfeited. Bush forfeited the award in 2010 after being accused of illegal financial benefits while playing for USC, but due to major NIL changes in college athletics the Heisman Trust reinstated Bush’s award.

And the Saints will look to replace veteran offensive lineman James Hurst after he retired today. Hurst started 51 games for the Saints over the last 4 years and rotated between left tackle and guard.

The Pelicans will take on the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight in game 2 of their NBA playoff series and Pelicans Power Forward Larry Nance feels that his team can beat the Thunder with more execution on the court.

The Pelicans will tip off against the Thunder at 8:30 pm tonight.

LSU baseball started its nine game homestead with a 9 to nothing win over Nicholls last night. The game featured the Tigers dominating on both sides of the plate with great pitching and timely hits. LSU third baseman Tommy White is responsible for two home runs in the game including one that bounced off a fan’s head. The Tigers will take on Auburn this weekend with the first game this Friday at 6:30.

In baseball news across the state, tonight Nicholls will travel to take on LA Tech and UL-Lafayette will host Houston Christian with first pitch for both games at 6 pm.
