Angel Reese’s time as a Lady Tiger basketball player is over. The two-time All-American has declared for the W-N-B-A draft. Reese posted a video to X saying she’s leaving college with everything she ever wanted—a degree, a national championship, and a platform she never imagined. The voice of the Lady Tigers Patrick Wright says Reese plays with a passion and skill that has grown women’s basketball, and her impact extends beyond LSU.

A new football coach is needed at Neville High School as Jeff Tannehill has resigned after four seasons. Tannehill was placed on administrative leave at the beginning of March because of an investigation looking into possible misuse of student funds, but was reinstated after three weeks. Tannehill was 34-10 at his alma mater.

First year LSU offensive coordinator Joe Sloan is pleased with the progress of new Tigers starting quarterback Garrett Nussmeier. Sloan says making good decisions with the football has been the focus…

LSU baseball coach Jay Johnson has told the players to keep their cell phones out of the clubhouse in the hopes that it leads to better focus. The Tigers have lost four in a row and they are 2-7 in the SEC. Former LSU pitcher and college baseball analyst Ronnie Rantz says they are not a good team right now…
