The Ragin Cajuns extended their nation’s longest winning streak to 12 games last night with a 13 to 3 seven inning win over Nicholls. Duncan Pastore had four hits, Kyle DeBarge hit his ninth homer and John Taylor extended his hitting streak to 17 games.

A new football coach is needed at Neville High School as Jeff Tannehill has resigned after four seasons. Tannehill was placed on administrative leave at the beginning of March because of an investigation looking into possible misuse of student funds, but was reinstated after three weeks.
