Neville High school needs a new football coach. Jeff Tannehill has resigned after four seasons. Tannehill was placed on administrative leave March 1 as he was under investigation for possible misuse of student funds at Monroe City Schools. He was reinstated three weeks later. The Ouachita Citizen reports Tannehill’s resignation has nothing to do with an audit.

Ten former LSU students who sued the school for allegedly mishandling complaints of sexual assault and domestic violence involving football players and others have settled the case. Settlement terms have not been made public. Legal analyst Franz Borhardt…

To raise money to build a proper animal shelter with a spay/neuter clinic in Evangeline Parish, Matthew Baker, founder of Heros Everywhere Animal Rescue, has committed to sleeping outside with their 64 rescue dogs. He’s hoping to raise $250,000 to build the facility on land they’ve donated.
