The entire state is under a wind advisory today as a strong storm system will impact Louisiana. We could expect sustained winds of 15 to 25 miles, with wind gusts up 45-miles per hour. Strong storms are possible especially for northeast Louisiana and the Delta parishes.

Louisiana lawmakers are looking to ban nitrous oxide. It’s known as a party drug and sold at gas stations and smoke shops, but it could be potentially deadly. The House Criminal Justice Committee heard emotional testimony from a father whose daughter bought a cannister at a gas station and hours later found herself fighting for her life…

LSU Health Shreveport is joining forces with the Air Force to study the physical and cognitive effects of lengthy flights on B-52 aircrew members. Director of the Rehabilitation Science Program Dr. Cory Coehoorn (coo-horn) says this is a first for LSU-Health and the Air Force Global Strike Command.
