House Education approves a bill to repeal state laws requiring educators to teach students about CPR, eating disorders, adoption, substance abuse and more. Author of the legislation Rosepine Representative Charles Owens says for teachers to teach these type of lessons, they have to be trained, so instead of having lawmakers decide if these are worthy subjects, he says BESE should decide.
