Fifth ranked LSU faces sixth ranked Florida this weekend at Alex Box Stadium in a rematch of last year’s national championship series. The Tigers are looking to rebound from a tough opening SEC weekend series loss to Mississippi State. Coach Jay Johnson expects his guys will bounce back….

Luke Holman is the starting pitching for the Tigers. Cade Fisher will start for Florida. He was a Freshman All-American last year, but he’s struggled as a Friday night starter.

Grambling State will try to pull off the massive upset tonight as they play top seeded Purdue in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The Tigers are coming off their first NCAA Tourney win on Wednesday night. The Boilermakers are 29-4 and Big 10 regular season champs.

The Southland Conference Champion McNeese Cowboys season ended last night with an 86-65 loss to Gonzaga. Shahada Wells capped off his college career with a game-high 19 points. Wells is glad he was part of this special season…

The Pelicans are at Miami tonight. Brandon Ingram is out at least two weeks after injuring his knee last night.
