50 Louisiana National Guard soldiers have arrived in Texas to help with border security. Governor Jeff Landry sent guardsmen at the request of Texas Governor Greg Abbott. Louisiana National Guard Lt. Colonel Noel Collins anticipates the soldiers will help prevent, detect, and deter illegal crossings.
