Another one-point win for the LSU men’s basketball team last night as the Fighting Tigers defeated Georgia 67-66. Will Baker hit two free throws with 15 seconds left and then the Tigers needed a block from Jalen Reed with two seconds left to preserve the victory. Baker finished with 12 points and Jordan Wright led LSU with 17.

The Pelicans snapped a two-game losing streak by beating the Knicks in New York 115 to 92. Trey Murphy had a nice game as he scored 26 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and had four assists. New Orleans is at Indiana tonight.

ULM men’s basketball lost at Texas State 73 to 55 in a game the Bobcats dominated throughout.

The Warhawks had better luck on the diamond as ULM defeated Northwestern State nine to two in Natchitoches. Jake Haggard homered in the win. Nicholls scored three runs in the tenth inning to beat Southern Miss six to five.

The third-ranked LSU baseball team is in Houston where they’ll play Rice tonight and then they’ll play three games at Minute Maid Park this weekend. Coach Jay Johnson…
