Governor Landry says the state will not accept Summer EBT funds because it’s pandemic-related and there are other programs available, however, one lawmaker says otherwise. Brooke Thorington has more.

Governor Jeff Landry signed an executive order declaring a State of Emergency due to a police officer shortage. The Louisiana Sheriff’s Association estimates the state is down 18-hundred deputies statewide, which is leading to an increase in response time.
