Today is the final day to qualify for the November 4th election and first in line was 5th Congressional District Representative Vance McAllister. The Congressman came under fire earlier this year for being caught on tape kissing a married woman at his office and Governor Bobby Jindal called for his resignation. McAllister says the Governor should be more worried about serving the stateā€¦

The Louisiana Lottery is reporting a 10 percent increase in the sale of scratch-off tickets which helped them add a near record $161.6 million to the state treasury for K-12 public education.
