The LSU men’s basketball team nearly pulled off a nice come from behind victory on the road but the Georgia Bulldogs survived a missed three-point shot at the buzzer by Jordan Wright to beat the Tigers 68-66. The Bayou Bengals were down by eight with 2:55 to go and actually took a one point lead on a three point play by Jalen Cook. But Georgia converted a three point play of its own in the final seconds to win.

Tonight at the Maravich Center, the ninth ranked LSU Lady Tigers will look to take down top ranked South Carolina in a matchup of the last two national champions in women’s basketball. LSU Coach Kim Mulkey views the game as a tremendous challenge, but it’s not the be all…
