Today at noon, Republican Jeff Landry officially becomes the 57th governor of Louisiana. Landry moved his inauguration ceremony up a day to avoid today’s expected bad weather and talked about making real changes as his administration will work with a Legislature that’s mostly Republican….

Landry says his administration will respond to the what he calls senseless, uncivilized and outrageous violent crime. He also wants to get unsuitable subject matter out of public schools.
